As the racing season is upon us, we have had our last regular membership meeting of the spring.  Come on out to our events and participate, lend a hand or just watch the action.

Club Racing and Solo event registrations

As WMR jumps feet first into the 21st Century, we are using an online registration site for all of our Club racing and Solo event registration.  Go to this link to enter any WMR event.  If you have any questions, please contact me (frameh@msu.edu or 517.889.1117) and let me know.

Proposed By Law changes accepted

The proposed changes in the WMR By Laws have been ratified by the General Membership.  An updated version of the By Laws is posted here.

Member Participation

WMR needs its members to become more active.  Our Club Racing and Solo schedule for 2010 (and beyond) requires that more members become active as workers to support our events.  WMR supports other regions' events and we get some support from them as well.  Please contact the RE or web master for details about how to get involved.  The bottom line is that a region is only as strong as it membership.

The iCard company has folded.  A new firm has moved in to fill the void.  Go here to see the newest product.  iCard hardware will still work.

Grattan Raceway's Host Hotel

Grattan Raceway now has a host hotel.  The Radisson Hotel Grand Rapids North has special rates (at substantial savings) for drivers (and their crew) and workers.  Mention Grattan Raceway (not WMR or SCCA) as they don't know who we are but they do know Grattan.  Click here for contact information.
