Western Michigan Region 2011 SOLO Championship Rules
Points results will be posted on the website after the event. They are the responsibility of the Timing and scoring chief, or the Solo Manager in the absence of the Timing and Scoring chief.
- Compete in at least 3 of all WMR-sanctioned Solo events during 2011.
- Points are awarded by Class finish. A driver may win a Class Championship in only one Class. Points earned in other Classes will be recorded but are not transferable to the driver's main competing class.
- Novice drivers are scored into their normal Class and a separate Novice Class Championship.
- This year to encourage all newcomers, any driver, regardless of membership, is eligible.
- WMR reserves the right to add or subtract to the number of events, due to weather or unforeseen circumstances..
- WMR sanctioned events where event trophies are given will be included in this series. Schools, Practice, and Test and tune, are excluded from trophies and points.
Class Championships
- 1st place = 100 points
- All others are given points based on a percentage of the fastest time in class.
- Example 56.874 / 59.345= .95836 *100 = 95.836 rounded to 2 places = 95.84 points
- DNS or DQS = 0 points
Driver of the Year Series Points
The driver with the most points, Class Points (1 class only) + Pax Points+ FTD Points

The driver with the most accumulated points in FTD.
